Are you ready for 2010??????

The year 2009 is winding down. As I think back , the year went by pretty fast. I traveled a lot. Met the treehouse. Went to a bunch of weddings. Buried some family members. I did a lot. Nothing really significant happen within my life. At least nothing that I think is significant. However, I’m still ready to embrace whatever is in store for the new year.

As of yet, I don’t have any big plans for New Year’s Eve. I had the day scheduled off but I think I’m going to come on in. It’s no sense in wasting my leave to sleep for nothing. I have the option of going home. But I really don’t care to make the drive. I really just want to be a bum this weekend. So more than likely, a bum is what I am going to be.

However, for NYE I’ll probably go to church with one of my besties. That’s what I’ve did for the last 2 years anyhow. Those are my only plans as of right now and I’m okay with it. Everywhere I go people are asking me if I have big plans for NYE. Once I tell them no they kind of look at me strange. Oh, well. Is it  because that I’m young and they are expecting me to be somewhere hanging from the ceiling?

But I am excited for what’s to come in 2010. I can’t say that it’s too many things that I plan on doing differently than I did in 2009. I’m gonna keep on living and knowing where my blessings come from. It would be nice to have a boo around. But if it don’t happen, I won’t trip. It’s really not that serious. At least to me it isn’t. When it happens, happens. Until then I’m cool living the single life.

And I think I may be the only one working tomorrow. SAD FACE 😦

HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR E-FAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are pretty much the same when it comes to the attitudes of the New Year, and how to celebrate it.

For all of my life, I’ve did nothing but now, for some reason, I got the hairbrained idea to go to Atlanta just Tuesday (such short notice)…. but otherwise, I’d be just like you bumming it- and ain’t nuffin wrong with that because it’s a welcomed day off from work.

I also am looking back and can’t remember anything really big happening this year- well, except J coming into my life. I am seeing all of these FB statuses about needing a new change and how 2009 was such an awful year and such and such, but it just makes me wonder- was it really an awful year, or is it just your attitude about it? I just want to tell people stop focusing on the negative, God brought you through it, shut up and move on…. but people tend to frown on unwarranted opinions. lol

@Sunny…..I know I’ve seen a lot of negativity towards 2009. I just give them the side eye because I agree with you…. They need to just keep it moving and quit harping on the negative parts…..

Did you find all of your outfit? When are you guys leaving?

Exactly!!!! Oh em gee, 80s, baby, let me tell ya. That outfit caused me grief. I had to find something else because of all the thigh high boots I tried on, they wouldn’t go up my thigh. And of those I didn’t try on, my size was COMPLETLEY OUT.

So, last night, I changed to a dress, http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=420159&CategoryID=20005, this description says it was dark chocolate, but I think it’s army green.

And it’s really short.. so I’m gonna wear black tights and black shoes, and I got one of those cute little flowery headbands that I showed you.. but OH EM GEE, I can’t find the black shoes.. Like they are SEriously, out of my size. So I’m taking a half day today, leaving at 11:20, and I have to go to Zappos and see if I have luck.

I also got a dress like this, because I was taking pics in the dressing room and I had two votes for it, but after trying it on at home, I realized how much I had to hold my stomach in, so it’s going back.

It’s similar to this, except it short and satin.. I did look the way it gave me an 80s bootie, but it also showed my one in the front. LMAO

I like the first dress a lot…..It will definitely look good on you because you got them long legs… Good luck with finding some shoes….

I know all about that extra in the front.. That’s why I had to leave a bad jumpsuit at Bebe.. It was too tight around my belly….

Are you talking about the “padded” 80’s booty or the regular almost back 80’s booty?????? LOL
